GENERAL INFORMATION
The purpose of the Research Centers Directorate in accordance with the Regulation on the Research Centers of the Gendarmerie and Coast Guard Academy (GCGA) is;
To carry out activities that will contribute to the continuous development of the Academy in areas needed, especially in law enforcement, security, crime research, leadership and language, to cooperate with national and international institutions and organizations in its activities, To organize training activities that will contribute to the academic development of the personnel of other institutions and organizations in need, especially the Gendarmerie General Command and the Coast Guard Command personnel.
Directorate of Research Centers continues to work with a total of 13 personnel, 7 officers, 1 petty officer and 5 civil servants employed in 2018.
Directorate of Research Center consisted of the BAM Section Headquarters, Crime Research Center, Law Enforcement Research Center, Maritime Research Center, and Terrorism Research Center. Within the scope of the Research Centers Directorate, in general, legislation and organization studies with the curriculum of the Gendarmerie Professional Development Education System, preparation of preparatory distance education course contents within the context of Secondary Education, foreign language education and cooperation development studies with international institutions and organizations are carried out.
