It sustains its academic activities with five Main Branches (Crime Research, Security Management, Public Administration, International Security and Terrorism, Maritime Safety and Security) based within the Institute.

The Gendarmerie and Coast Guard Faculty carries out undergraduate education, scientific research and practice for the training of officers needed by the organizations.

To train active non-commissioned officers who have knowledge and skills at the associate level in accordance with the duties and responsibilities of the organization and can follow the education and training specified in professional development programs after graduation.

To carry out activities that will contribute to the continuous development of the Academy in areas needed, especially in law enforcement, security, crime research, leadership and language.
